29/11/2012 -> 13/01/2013 : Unique design - Exhibition of Wallonian Artisan Craft (LESSINES)

Annual exhibition bringing together some 20 artisan craftsmen from all over the 5 provinces of Wallonia. In Lessines from 29/11 to 13/01/13!This edition of the exhibition will concentrate on objects and creations of innovating aesthetics and shapes. It comprises 22 artisan craftsmen and a total of 107 pieces, each produce only once and, therefore, unique.The styles represented in this exhibition are inevitably varied and eclectic.Certain objects, especially the glasswork items and porcelains, are strictly decorative and have an abstract aesthetic quality that resembles more contemporary applied art forms.But the majority of the pieces fall into the category of traditional and precise artisan craft.
